REGENT THEATRE
“BLOSSOMS IN THE DUST." The final screening will take place tonight of “Blossoms in the Dust,” starring Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon, a film that will long be remembered by Regent Theatre patrons. “COWBOY SERENADE.” Gene Autry, public cowboy favourite No. 1, will be seen tomorrow night and Friday night in a role full of song hits, romance, and the stirring action of the rangeland. Fay McKenzie is again Gene’s leading lady. She has been variously described as “the girl with the blitzkrieg eyes,” and recently won a nation-wide American contest as “the girl with the most camera appeal. A song which should appeal is “Cowboy Serenade.” The associate feature is “Man From Headquarters.” There is mystery, murder and romance combined when Frank Albertson and Joan Woodbury together track down a ruthless mastermind of crime, in “Man From Headquarters." If patrons like unusual mystery thrillers they cannot afford to miss “Man From Headquarters.”
