INSPECTION BY ENGINEERS PROPOSED. DECISION OF TRUST. Further consideration was given by the Trust Lands Trust at its meeting yesterday afternoon to the position of the Opera House, following on the recent earthquake. A letter was received from, the Masterton Borough Council advising that the council had adopted in toto the report of Messrs. Harris and Burns, of the Public Works Department, regarding earthquage damage to the Opera House. A long discussion in committee then took place, following which . it was decided to write to the Public Works Department inviting either Mr. Harris or Mr. Burns to again inspect the building in company with the Borough Engineer, Mr. Mabson.
