9 “SECRET AGENT OF JAPAN" 1 “Secret Agent of Japan" and “Small Town. Deb" will be finally shown tonight. “MY FAVOURITE WIFE” The programme to be shown tomorrow night at the State Theatre will t be an exceptionally good one, and contains items to suit all tastes. In , keeping with the policy to obtain the best pictures available, despite the 1 difficulties created by the war, the management has arranged for some outstanding features to be presented during the next few weeks. Tomorrow , night's offering will be "My Favourite Wife,” a picture which has much to commend it. A comedy drama marked for its clever presentation of inter- < esting scenes, "My Favourite Wife” is ( sure to be popular with the audience. ■ The acting "is of a high standard, this < of- course being expected when it is I realised that noted artists portray the chief roles. In less competent hands •the picture would become what the ; Americans call “a flop.” - - ' ■■ ■— I
