FIRE DISASTER
DANCE HALL DESTROYED IN NEWFOUNDLAND NINETY-FOUR SODIES RECOVERED. MANY SERVICE MEN AMONG VICTIMS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.55 p.m.) ST. JOHNS (Newfoundland), Dec, 13. Ninety-four bodies have been recovered and others are feared to be dead in a fire which destroyed a Knights of Columbus hostel crowded with dancers. One hundred and thirty persons were sent to hospital. Many service men were among the victims.
