t FEATHERSTON COUNTY f. MONTHLY MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Featherston County Council is being held today and is presided over by Cr A. B. Martin. „, Accounts amounting to £1715 were passed for payment. The Transport Drivers’ Union wrote asking for the fortnightly payment of members’ wages instead of monthly. It was decided to reply that the wages were paid fortnightly by the Featherston County Council. The Carterton Borough Council wrote suggesting that for patriotic purposes Wairarapa should be constituted as one district. The chairman stated that the Wairarapa was a separate district.
