Germany has launched a full-scale propaganda campaign against Switzerland. which many German newspapers simultaneously accuse of converting herself into “a Jewish platform for attack on the Reich,” says the “Daily Telegraph’s” Zurich correspondent. ’ The “Voelkischer Beobachter” accuses Switzerland of not accepting the new European order, adding that the fact that Switzerland belongs _ to Europe makes it the more impossible to understand why she continues to harbour Jewish immigrants. The correspondent says Switzerland at present is granting asylum to nearly 15,000 refugees, mainly from France, Holland and Belgium, but Jews form only a small proportion of them. “The Times” correspondent on _ the French frontier reports that the Vichy Government has forbidden, listening to Swiss broadcasts, in consequence of which proprietors of cafes and restaurants in many large French towns have ■publicly declared a boycott of the Vichy radio. _____
