BRITISH AIR ATTACKS

$ ON ITALY AND NORTHERN FRANCE GOOD RESULTS OBTAINED AT TURIN. ONE R.A.F. BOMBER LOST. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, November 29. The Air Ministry states: “A strong force of our bombers attacked objectives in Turin last night. The weather over the target was good and the attack was heavy and concentrated. Good results were seen.. “Aircraft of the Fighter Command, on intruder operations, attacked a number of locomotives and goods trains in France and Belgium. One fighter is missing. “Turin has been the target for the last three raids on Italy.” Only one R.A.F. bomber was lost in the latest raid on Turin. On the way back from Turin one Lancaster crew sighted as many as 23 fighters over Northern France. The pilot outmanoeuvred them and destroyed one.
