RUAKOKOPATUNA

LAMB REARING COMPETITION WINNERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the Ruakokopatuna School a good attendance of parents and friends gathered to witness the first lamb competition. Mr T. Scott was the judge, and Mrs Scott presented the ribbons to the successful competitors. The results were as follow: — Long woolled: John Munroe 1, James Denholm 2, Henry Finlayson 3, Nancy Denholm and Malcolm Finlayson (equal) 4. Short wooled: Annette Sharp 1. Miss Pope thanked those present for their attendance and said that she hoped to see them all at the school for the second competition.
