BRITISH CASUALTIES
LIGHTER THAN EXPECTED. LONDON, November 22. The Allied • casualties in the Eighth Army’s offensive have been much lighter than was expected. A message from Cairo reports that three-quarters of the total casualties are wounded, and three-quarters of the wounded will soon be ready to return to their units. There are very few permanently disabled.
