KAIPARORO

TENNIS COURTS OFFICIALLY OPENED FOR SEASON. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the opening of the Kaiparoro Tennis Club’s courts there was not as large an attendance as usual owing to sickness. The ceremony was performed by Mr J. Robertson, M.P. A Yankee tournament was held and some excellent tennis was witnessed. The finals were won by Miss N. Braddick and R. Dick, after playing off with Miss E. Dick and R. Falkner. Personal Items. Mrs C. Isakson, Pahiatua, has been staying with her sister-in-law, Mrs J. Isakson. Mr and Mrs V. Falkner are the guests of the latter’s parents, Mr and Mrs Alex Falkner. Mrs Searancke has returned to her home in Hamilton, after having spent some weeks with her mother, Mrs James Dick. Mrs Dick has received word that her son, Private Bryan Dick, has been discharged from hospital after having' been wounded.
