BOWLING

MASTERTON CLUB.

TOURNEY ON BOXING DAY. At the monthly meeting of the committee of the Masterton Bowling Club it was decided that the trophy presented by Mr C. W. Dickason be allotted to the progressive pairs competition. The question of the Fred Davie Memorial Trophy for competition between the Park and Masterton Clubs was considered, and it has been proposed that matches be played on a Saturday, comprising as many teams as possible from each club. Final arrangements are to be made between the delegates of the two clubs. A tournament is to be held on Boxing Day, the teams to comprise three players. Three new members were elected.

Club fours will be played on the Masterton Bowling Club’s greens on Saturday afternoon, commencing at 1.15 o’clock. Games in the champion singles and pairs (first and second rounds) must be completed by December 5.
