MUCH DAMAGE DONE
R.A.F. AND ALLIED AIR ATTACKS. ON ENEMY-OCCUPIED TERRITORY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.10 p.m.) RUGBY, November 18. Squadrons of the Fighter Command today made several sweeps over Northern France The Luftwaffe was not seen, and all our planes returned. In the course of small-scale operations by other Allied aircraft over occupied territory, at least fourteen locomotives were damaged or destroyed, an oi Istorage tank was left smoking, and factories and barges were attacked. American pilots blew up a goods train. Czech pilots shot up gun posts. Three of our planes are missing from these operations.
