TRANSPORT CONTROL
NEW CARTAGE REGULATIONS. ■ The Masterton Goods Transport Control Committee has issued new regulations in connection with the cartage of stock by motor vehicle, and these appear in today’s advertising columns. Regulations in connection with the of general goods are also advertised. Users are asked to assist in the conservation of tires and petrol by giving their carriers early notice of their cartage requirements. Transport operators are being advised by the control committee that full 2-way loading must be obtained whenever possible even if some delay is caused in the delivery of goods.
