WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION SATURDAY’S GAMES. GOOD BATTING BY WYSOCKI. The Wairarapa Cricket Association continued its matches on Saturday afternoon in fine weather. Red Star secured a five-point win over Air Force. For the winners, Wysocki played an excellent innings for 80 not out, which included three 6's and a similar number of 4’s. Cheevers, not out, 55 (including eight 4’s), also batted well. K. Miller and Fitzpatrick gave good batting displays for Old Boys.
SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP ’ RED STAR v. AIR FORCE. TWO SCORES OVER FIFTY. The following were the scores in the Red Star-Air Force match;— Red Star: 5 wickets for 183 (Wysocki, not out, 80: Chevers, not out. 55, F. Hoar 27, Holm 13; Stewart 2 for 65, SinUair 1 for 20. Milne 1 for 21, Ireland 1 for 45). Air Force: First innings, 64 (Strawbridge 24; F .Hoar 5 for 21. Bell 2 for 11, Rew 1 for 11, McCalmont 1 for 17). Second innings: 6 wickets for 74 (Nash, not out, 42; Strawbridge 12; Holm 2 for 14, F. Hoar 2 for 18, Williams 1 for 7. Linder 1 for 9).
COLLEGE v OLD BOYS. A DRAWN GAME. Wairarapa College drew with Old Boys in a cricket match played at College grounds on Saturday afternoon. In a score of 58 K. Miller hit five boundaries, and Fitzpatrick in compiling 53 registered four 4's and two 6’s. Scores: — College, 5 wickets for 199 (Liver 45, Hourigan not out 42, Welch 39, Towns not out 33; A. Whiteman 1 for 40, Barr 1 for 70. Irvine 1 for 60. Old Boys 6 wickets for 190 (K. Miller 58. J. Fitzpatrick 53, W. Whiteman 36. A. Whiteman 10; Sweeney. 3 for 51, Welch 2 for 57, Masters 1 for 19. In a friendly game on the Wairarapa College ground on Saturday, the College team scored 121 (Abbott 33, Alpe 27, Beecroft 24, Jones 19) and Red Star (batting with eight players), 107 (Grant 45, J.
