MANY ATTACKS

MADE BY ALLIED AIR FORCES. IN LIBYA AND FURTHER WEST. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) RUGBY, November 15. A Cairo communique states: “The Eighth Army yesterday continued the pursuit of the' enemy to Tmimi. “Our heavy and medium bombers on Friday night and on Saturday attacked the enemy west of Gazala. “At least seven more Axis aircraft, mostly flying north, were shot down yesterday between Tunis and Sicily. We made a successful low-level attack on Tunis aerodromes. Two of our planes are missing.” News reaching Cairo indicates that the forward troops of the Eighth Army have not been engaged in any serious action since the Germans attempted a minor stand at El Adem some days ago.
