CALVES AND LAMBS

ANNUAL COMPETITION. , . KOPUARANGA RESULTS. (“Times-Age” Special.) A large gathering of parents and friends assembled at the Kopuaranga School for the annual calf and lamb competition. Record entries had been received, 7 calves and 9 lambs. The judge was Mr Keats, Mt. Bruce. Morning tea was provided by the parents and hearty votes of thanks passed to all who had assisted at the gathering. The winners were decorated with ribbons and books were presented to the winners and to the unsuccessful competitors. The results were as follow: — Calves, best dairy type: Champion, Gwen Cottle.
