A Navy communique states that United States submarines have reported the following results of operations against the enemy in Far Eastern waters:—One large transport, one large tanker, one large cargo ship, one medium-sized cargo ship, one mediumsized auxiliary ship, one small cargo ship and one small patrol vessel, all sunk. One destroyer damaged and believed sunk. These actions have not been announced in any previous communique.
