IN FURTHERANCE OF WHEAT GROWING. OFFERED BY MR S. DALGLEISH. Mr Simon Dalgleish, of Longbush, has offered to finance any farmer who will grow wheat and find the land to grow it on, to the extent of £l,OOO free of interest. . Mr R W. Kebbell, chairman of the Wairarapa Primary Production Council in making known Mr Dalgleishs offer, which was made through his organisation, said the offer was an extremely generous one. In view of the necessity for the growing of wheat it was hoped that the offer would be taken up. _______________
