DENTAL CLINICS
DISSOLUTION OF MASTERTON JOINT COMMITTEE RECOGNITION OF GOOD WORK. CREDIT BALANCE HANDED OVER TO SCHOOLS. As the separate dental clinics established at Central, West and Lansdowne schools are now operating under their own committees, the Masterton Central Dental Clinic Committee, at a meeting held last evening, decided to go into recess. Mr E. G. Coddington, who presided over the meeting, reviewed the work of the committee during its two years of activity. From being in debt to the extent of some £5O, the committee now had a credit balance of £l5O. Most important of all, he observed, the interest and co-operation of the parents had been secured. The committee> laid claim to having done a good job, and done it well. In relinquishing office the committee expressed its thanks to the Press, the Trust Lands Trust, and to the parents of the district for their interest and support. It was decided to divide the committee’s surplus funds among the Central, Lansdowne and West schools, and the chairmen of the school clinics were appointed a committee to dispose of the furniture. Appreciative reference was made to the work of the chairman, Mr E. G. Coddington, and the secretary-treasurer, Mr J. G. McFarlane.
