SCHOOL COMMITTEE - 1 DATE FOR COMPETITIONS FIXED. ( (“Times-Age” Special.) At the monthly meeting of the Grey- : town School Committee there were present: Messrs H. G. Carter (chairman), F. Dennes (treasurer), W. Grigg, E.i Galyer, R. O’Neale and W. Wiggins. The headmaster (Mr S. C. Shedden) reported the roll numbers to be as follows:—Primary 305, secondary 32. The date of the group competition for calves and lambs was fixed for Tuesday, December 1. The school visitors for the month, Messrs Grigg and Wiggins, submitted a report on the condition of the grounds and buildings. It was decided to have the grass on the football ground cut with a hay mower. Several minor requirements for the Dental Cline were left to the chairman to secure. TOWN HALL TONIGHT’S PROGRAMME. The programme tonight will be.a par--1 ticularly good one. Two excellent feature pictures will be presented, “The Bad Man,” with Wallace Beery in the ’ chief role), and the brilliant comedy, ; “Broadway Limited,” in which Victor . McLaglen has the leading part.
