DOMINION FIGURES OVER £8,000,000 SUBSCRIBED. YESTERDAY’S CONTRIBUTIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) • WELLINGTON, This Day. At the close of business yesterday subscriptions to the second Liberty Loan totalled £8,012,865, representing 14,275 applications. Yesterday’s contributions amounted to £482,795 from 1898 applications. MASTERTON INVESTMENTS. ■ £96,536 SUBSCRIBED TO DATE. In Masterton yesterday 49 applications for £5,663 were received by the local Liberty Loan Committee. Applications to date are 223 for a total investment of £96,536. Yesterday’s amount included investments of £4OO by the No. 2 Workers’ Mutual Building Society; £250 by H. J. Jones and Co., Ltd., and £5O by W. H. Long & Son.
