ENJOYABLE DANCE

MEMBERS OF MILITARY UNIT ENTERTAIN. LARGE NUMBER OF GUESTS PRESENT. Members of a military unit entertained a number of guests at a most successful and enjoyable dance in the Odd Fellows’ Hall, Masterton, last night. The music was supplied by Messrs Arnold Barnes (piano) and G. Longworth (drums). Sergeant Maxwell Fernie, the well-known organist, played two numbers on the piano, being warmly applauded for his splendid renderings. Staff Sergeant S. McLean and Sergeant A. Jonassen were capable M.C’s. A savoury supper was served by. an energetic committee.
