REGENT THEATRE
"HERE COMES MR JORDAN.” At the Regent Theatre tonight there will be shown “Here Comes Mr Jordan,” the witty fantasy in which Robert Montgomery, Claude Rams, Edward Everett Horton, and Evelyn Keys have the leading roles. It is a most engaging film with a most unusual plot, and the situations which arise during its whimsical treatment of a man who (owing to the overeagerness of a new recruit in Heaven) is snatched from his body, before his appointed time and who has to be returned to a new one is cleverly developed.. Robert Montgomery, playing the role of a boxer who is on the path to world championship rank, proves what a versatile actor he is, and receives magnificent support from a whole series of “bit” players, .all of whom are perfectly cast. "Here Comes Mr Jordan,' which has been rated among the best ten films of the past year, will undoubtedly attract those who like the amusing and the unusual.
