TREATY WITH CHINA
PROMISE OF EARLY ACTION BY BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.22 a.m.) RUGBY, October 26. The Chinese Charge D’Affaires in London yesterday called on Sir Alexander Cadogan, Permanent Under-Se-cretary of State at the Foreign Office, who informed him that the British draft treaty for the abolition of extraterritorial rights would be communicated to him soon and would be'on the same lines as the proposed AmericanChinese Treaty. It is pointed out that the necessity of consulting the Domi ions involves a certain delay on the British side.
