The bride was attended by Miss Ray Harding, who wore a pretty grey and rose frock with black accessories. She carried a bouquet of rose shadings to tone.

The bridegroom was attended by Second-Lieut. Young, Dannevirke, as best man.

Over 40 guests were received afterwards at a reception at the home of the bride’s parents. The bride’s mother was dressed in a blue ensemble with navy accessories and wore a pink shoulder spray. She was- assisted by the bridegroom’s sister, Mrs C. M. Walker, of Pahiatua, who was attired in a pale green suit with fawn accessories and a shoulder spray of fuchsias. When Lieut, and Mrs Frances left, later on their honeymoon, which was spent in the north, the bride wore a smart green check costume, with black accessories.
