AGAIN BLASTED

FOR THIRD SUCCESSIVE DAY JAPANESE ON GUADALCANAR. UNITED STATES NAVY REPORT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, October 20. American bombers have blasted enemy troops and supply concentrations on Guadalcanar for the third successive day, says a United States Navy communique. No report has been received of any offensive operations against United States positions on Guadalcanar since the Japanese landed on October 15. Large numbers of enemy warships and auxiliaries were stated to have been reported in the Solomons area. Kiska (in the Aleutians) was again bombed on Sunday.
