The Tokio radio stated that the Japanese are ready to publish a newspaper in occupied territories. The “Asahi Shimbun” is taking over the entire Press of Java and the “Yomiuri” and “Hochi” that of Burma, and the ‘Nichi Nichi” that of the Philippines, in several languages. The Dornei’ news agency is taking control in Singapore, Malaya, Sumatra and Borneo.
