WAR CRIMES
POLISH CABINET PLANS FOR PUNISHMENT. SPECIAL DECREE ISSUED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) ’ RUGBY, October 19. Planning for the punishment of German war criminals, the Polish Cabinet has issued a special decree attaching criminal responsibility for crimes committed in Poland after August 31, 1939 —actions which caused death, special suffering, deportation or transfer of populations, or the imprisonment of individuals or general danger to human beings, or compulsory military service in foreign armies, or destruction or damage to property of national value.
