WEDDING

FLYNN—BENNINGTON. The wedding was recently celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Masterton, of Beatrice Winifred, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs N. J. Bennington, Masterton, to Leading Aircraftman Peter James, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Peter Flynn, of Dyerville, Martinborough, the Rev. Father Dr. R. Gilhooly officiating. Mrs A. R. Bunny presided at the organ. Miss Alison Davie, of Wellington, was bridesmaid, and Mr Jack Macdonald, of Masterton, best man.

The customary toasts were later honoured at the home of the bride’s parents, Cornwall Street, many of the guests at the reception later assembling on the local platform to speed Leading Aircraftman and Mrs Flynn on their journey south.
