TOWN LAND TRUST MONTHLY MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the monthly meeting of the Greytown Town Lands Trust there were present: Messrs F. Dennes (chairman), H. G. Carter, W. H. Day, W. Grigg, A. H. York and the secretary, Mr J. Kiernan. The Trust solicitors forwarded a deed of transfer of properties from deceased trustees to the present trustees. Accounts passed for payment amounted to £33 10s 4d. Mr M. Maguire was authorised to complete repairs to chimneys in Trust houses. League of Mothers. The speaker at the Greytown League of Mothers’ meeting tomorrow afternoon will be the Rev. F. H. Robertson, director of the Christian Order Movement. Women are cordially invited to be present at the meeting. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs H. J .Nightingale have returned lb Greytown after a holiday spent in Wellington. Misses M. Wood and B. Kiernan were weekend visitors to Wellington. TOWN HALL BRILLIANT COMEDY. At the Town Hall tomorrow night there will be presented “The Big Store,” which is the best picture of its class that Marx Bros, have yet brought to the screen. It is a series of laughs, and the picture should be appreciated in the strenuous times which are being experienced today. Tony Martin and Virginia Grey also have splendid roles.
