BENEFITS FOR ORPHANS & THE AGED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Under the will of Charles Walter Elliott, a former Rangiora business man, a sum of £l,OOO is bequeathed to St. Saviour’s Guild for orphanage work, and the residue of the estate to the Salvation Army in Christchurch for charitable work among elderly people. The value of the estate is approximately £7,000.
