GREYTOWN
MOTOR FATALITY INQUEST ON VICTIM. ("Times-Age” Special.) The inquest concerning the death of Gunner Robert Donald Wilson, who died from injuries received in a motor accident which occurred on the night of September 21, was held at Greytown before Mr T. E. Laing (South Wairarapa District Coroner). Henry Ihaia Hutani, of Porangahau, gave evidence that he was driving the car at the time of the accident, having been at the wheel from south of Pahiatua, Wison drove from Waipukurau. He remembered passing through Masterton though feeling a bit tired. The first thing he remgmbered after leaving Masterton was heaving glass breaking. He was in a sleepy stupor and did not for the moment realise what had happened. He found Wilson under the car and went to the nearest house for assistance. After having heard further evidence the coroner returned a verdict that Gunner Wilson died from injuries received in a motor accident at Carterton on September 21, while in a motor car driven by Henry Ihaia Hutana, of Porangahau. TOWN HALL "ALOMA OF THE SOUTH SEAS.” An outstanding drama, “Aloma of the South Seas," in technicolour, will be shown tonight, in which Jon Hall and Dorothy Lameur portray the chief characters.
