CARTERTON

BUILDING SOCIETY MEETING OF DIRECTORS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr L. H. Smart presided over a meeting of directors of the Wairarapa Terminating Building Society. An appropriation of £6OO was won by Miss C. E. Card, Featherston, and a second appropriation of £6OO went to Mr H. Arbiss, Wellington. School Committee. The monthly meeting of members of the Carterton District High School will be held in the Holloway Street school on Monday evening. Sale of Bulbs. Members of the Plunket Society, under the supervision of Mrs Trapp, held a very successful sale of bulbs yesterday afternoon. A plentiful supply of the beautiful blooms from Mr and Mrs W. Henry Booth’s grounds. Middle Run, were sent in and found a ready sale. A copper trail realised a fair sum of money.
