The Associated Auctioneers report on their Pahiatua sale as follows:—Medium entries c£ all classes came forward, and were offered to a large attendance of local buyers. Realisations for sheep and pigs remained firm on late rates, while dairy cows and heifers appreciated on last week’s sale. Quotations; Fat wethers, 395: fat ewes. 25s to 235; w. hoggets. 25s Id to 225. Spg. dairy heifers (extra goodi. £l2 to £9 10s; medium and small, £3 10s to £7 10s; spg. cows, £l2 to £7: fat cows. £8 10s to £5 14s. Pigs: Porkers, £3 7s to £3 6s; slips. £2' to 395; weaners, 28s to 21s.
