WEDDING

JENKINS—DUNN.

The wedding took place recently at the Kuripuni Methodist Church of Hazel Mary, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs T, Dunn, “Arakoa,” Mauriceville, and Private Ronald Robert, eldest son of Mr and Mrs R. B. Jenkins, Penrose, Auckland. The Rev. H. S. Kings performed the ceremony. The bride, who was attended by her father, was attired in a frock of rose crepe sonia with full skirt and embroidered yoke, grey hat and shoes and carried a bouquet of tulips, hyacinths, freezias, heather, and other spring flowers. The bride was attended by Miss Gladys Bird, of Auckland, who wore a frock of nut brown Canadian crepe with a collar of ecru crochet. She carried a bouquet of irises and spring flowers in tonings of blue and gold. The bridegroom was attended by Sergeant Harry Bell, of Wellington, as best man. , , ~ A reception was held at the residence of the bride’s aunt, Mrs W. Deadman, where a few relatives ana friends were present, including MajorTarleton and some soldiers. Mrs Dunn received her guests in a navy costume with a shoulder spray of hyacinths and freezias. She was assisted by the bridegroom’s mother, who wore a blue and white frock with a shoulder spray of anemones and azaleas.. Private and Mrs Jenkins later left for the north, the bride travelling m a frock of floral morocain with grey coat and accessories.
