The Wairoa Murders.
Investigation of the killing of Brigadier Annie Smyth and Miss Rosamond Smyth at Wairoa early in August is continuing, but there have been no new developments recently. The Commissioner of Police, Mr D. J. Cummings, said yesterday that the police who were sent to Wairoa to work on the case were still there.
