CARTERTON
NEW Y.M.C.A. HUT / MAY BE OPENED THIS WEEK. (“Times-Age” Special.) The new Y.M.C.A. hut in Carterton is nearing completion and will probably be officially opened on Friday next. •W.W.S.A. COMMITTEE MEETING. A meeting of the committee of the Women's War Service Auxiliary was held in the Borough Council Chambers yesterday afternoon, there being present Mesdames H. E. Ordish (in the chair), W. H. Hall. Miss O. W. Wolters and Mrs F. L. Barr. It was reported that last Sunday night the free suppers to soldiers were supplied by the Parkvale and Clareville residents.
