CRICKET ATTEMPT TO ORGANISE TEAM. (“Times-Age” Special.) An effort is being made to put a cricket team in the field, as there arc a number of soldier players available. It is many years since Greytown was able to provide a team in a Wairarapa championship competition. Though the petrol restrictions will doubtless interfere with any local team travelling, : t is hoped that if a team is available some matches will be played beyond Greytown by the eleven. Women’s Division. The monthly meeting of the Women’s Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union will be held in the Parish Hall on Wednesday afternoon, commencing at 2 o’clock. TOWN HALL “MOON OVER MIAMI.” At the Town Hall tomorrow night there will be screened an outstanding musical comedy, photographed in brilliant technicolour — “Moon Over Miami.” The leading roles are taken by Betty Grable. Robert Cummings, Don Ameche and Carol Landis. The picture was screened for five weeks in Auckland.
