A gay display of spring (lowers is daily becoming more beautiful in the Masterton Park, where many beds are now bright with blooms. On Saturday the Begonia House will be opened to (he public. Here there is a splendid array of cyclamens, calceolarias and cinerarias.
Among the many flower borders and beds are some containing the vivid colours of Iceland poppies, choice strains of pansies, attractive hues of hyacinths and the blaze of calendulas. Rhododendrons, too, are showing' up brightly, and in many corners of the Park and along the main walks there is much to interest the flower lover. Seed has been sown of summer flowering plants, and the season’s display promises to maintain the reputation that the Park has achieved in the past for the beauty of its flower beds.
