BRITAIN'S LATEST TANKS. ACCORDING TO WAR MINISTER. (British Otl'icial ’Wireless.) RUGBY, September 19. The new British tanks now coming into production were described by the War Minister, Sir James G'rigg, at Cardiff, as “better than anything provided before and a better tank than any in the world.” Sir James said that the effect of these tanks on the future of the war would be incalculable. Soldiers when they went into battle with them would at least feel that they were properly equipped to cope w’ith anybody. He urged the audience to be prepared for every conceivable sacrifice to help the country to survive.
