DAMAGE DONE
WITH TWELVE CASUALTIES REPORTED. RAID ON ENGLISH COAST TOWNS (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON. September 18. A town on the south-west coast of England was considerably damaged when four raiders attacked it this morning. Known casualties total twelve. Anti-aircraft guns shot down an enemy fighter. Machine-gun bullets hit the top of a bus. but the driver accelerated and drove the vehicle under cover.
