Mutiny broke out in one regiment ordered back to Russia after three weeks instead of a promised three months’ rest in France. For this, fif Germans were shot. Many single executions of German soldiers have taken place, some in the Paris region. There have been numerous suicides of Germans not wishing to return to the hell of the Russian frpnt.
