Routine orders for the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard, issued by Major A. L. Hibbs, are:— , _ , Parades: A, B and C Coys.: As arranged by company commanders. Petrol Guards: Tonight at Harcombe's Garage at 7.0 p.m. Signals Platoon: Tonight at the Central School at 7.0 p.m. M.M.G. Platoon: Tonight and Monday, September 21 at the Mokatoa Scout Den at 7.0 p.m. Medical Platoon: Tonight at the Methodist Hall at 7.0 p.m. and Monday, September 21 at the rear of the Soldiers’ Club at 7.0 p.m.; Sunday, September 20, at Battalion Headquarters at 8.30 a.m. Mortar Platoon: Tonight and Tuesday, September 22, at the rear of the Soldiers’ Club at 7.0 p.m. Pioneer Platoon: Tonight at Battalion Headquarters, William Street. Clothing parade at 7.0 P.m- Sunday, September 20. at the Municipal Hall at 8.30 a.m., rations and mugs to be carried. The Group Signals Officer will lecture to all battalion officers on Wednesday.
