Transport of Stock.
The code which will govern the cartage of all live stock after October 1 has been announced. It is emphasised that the code applies to ail cartage of live stock by motor vehicles, and that a farmer may transport stock in his own vehicle only in compliance with the published code The rules are set out in an, advertisement published this morning. The introduction of the code will make necessary many adjustments of existing methods, especially in the conduct of live stock sales, 'but the code has been designed so as to cause the minimum of disturbance compatible with the need for a maximum saving of tire usage.
