GREYTOWN HOSPITAL
PROPOSALS FOR ADDITIONS.
Consideration was given by the Wairarapa Hospital Board at its meeting today to proposals for additions to Greytown Hospital. It was explained that the work proposed, which comprised the erection of a new ward, laundry, operating theatre block and other ancillary rooms, should be carried out by extending the corridor, thus obviating a double turn, which had been embraced in the earlier proposals, which had been framed prior to the earthauake. . The chairman, Mr H. H. .Mawley. was authorised to discuss this, aspect of the matter with the authorities in Wellington when he conferred with them on Friday next.
