WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

COMPETITION WINNERS.

(“Times-Age” Special.) There was a small attendance at the monthly meeting of the Gladstone Women’s Institute. Mrs Joblin (president) presided. Mesdames Joblin and P. Cooper were appointed delegates for the council meeting to be held in Carterton in October.

Potatoes for the potato competition were distributed amongst members. The towel competition was won by Miss A. Bubb, and that for the best bloom by Mrs P. Cooper.
