WEDDING

PAYNE—COLBAN. At St. Patrick’s Church, Masterton, recently, the marriage of Florence Sybella (Molly), eldest daughter' of Mrs and the late Mr E. B. Colban, of Masterton, to Pte. John Richard, eldest son of Mr and Mrs R. Payne, Nireaha, took place, the officiating minister being the Rev. Father N. Moore.

The bride, who was escorted by her brother-in-law, Mr T. Fawcett, wore an ensemble of dusky pink, with navy blue accessories.

The bridesmaid was Miss Margaret Dolan, of Masterton, who was attired in a frock of saxe blue, with navy blue accessories.

The duties of best man were carried out by Pte. Maurice Condon, of Masterton.
