LADIES’ ASSOCIATION . MORRIS CUP COMPETITION. WIN FOR EXCELSIOR JUNIORS. The final for the Morris Cup was played at Lansdowne on Saturday afternoon, between the Excelsior and Carterton juniors, the former team winning by 3 goals to 1. After the game the teams were entertained at afternoon tea by Mr and Mrs A. Southey at their residence in Walton's Avenue. when the trophies won by the respective teams were presented by Mr F. Madsen, president of the Wairarapa Ladies’ Hockey Association. COMPETITIONS CONCLUDED The championship and knock-out competitions of the Wairarapa Ladies' Hockey Association have now been completed. Excelsior seniors won the Championship Shield, the Kia Toa Knock-out Cup and the six-a-side tournament trophy. The Carterton juniors won the junior championship and the six-a-side tournament cups, and the Excelsior juniors won the Morris Knock-out Cup.
