Saunders 71, J. Marshall 69. Earthquake. A sharp earthquake was felt about 7 o’clock this morning. Goif. The final medal round played by members of the golf club during the weekend resulted in H. Lovegrove and A. Clelland tying for first place. 11. McCarthy was third. Personal Items. Private Harold McKenna is home on leave. After having lived in Featherston for a number of years, Mr and Mrs W. Cuff have left to take up their residence in Petone. Enjoyable Dance. There was a large attendance at a dance given in the Town Hall by a Scottish regiment in appreciation of the hospitality received by members from the people of Featherston. A most enjoyable time was spent. COSY THEATRE “MAYTIME.” An excellent musical comedy will be screened at the Cosy Theatre on Wednesday night, the leading roles being taken by Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald. It is the finest picture of its kind seen since “Rose Marie” and “Naughty Marietta.”
