SIR A. BROOKE & OTHERS. (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, August 28. General Sir A. Brooke. Chief of the Imperial General Staff, who accompanied Mr Churchill during his visit to Moscow, was received in audience by the King today. Other visitors were General Sir J. Dill, to whom the King presented a field-marshal’s baton and whom he invested with the G.C.8.. and Mr F. Sturrock. the South African Minister for Railways.
